GEMÜ P40

Our efficient tank bottom valve

The pneumatically actuated GEMÜ P40 PD tank bottom valve is designed for use in sterile applications. The sealing concept of the valve is based on the GEMÜ PD technology consisting of a radial sealing PTFE diaphragm, whereby the actuator is hermetically separated from the medium. All actuator parts (except the sealing and design elements) are made from stainless steel.

The optimized design results in a reduced risk of contamination and ensures optimum drainage characteristics. Thanks to an integrated disk spring, long-term valve tightness is ensured over the entire service life of the PD.

PROVEN SYSTEM

The use of a plug diaphragm (radial sealing PTFE diaphragm) and its first-class properties may be new for tank bottom valves, but they are tried and tested in familiar designs. The dynamic preload of the patented PD developed specifically for tank bottom valves ensures low-maintenance operation.
